Why do DJ Kwe and DJ Kwest
have almost the same DJ names?

Many moons ago DJ Kwe walked
into the record shop DJ Kwest
was working in to drop off
some flyers for her event in Toronto. 
 It was this reunion that brought both talented dj's together
and thier partnership was forged.  It was the very karmic day when they
realized that they almost had the same DJ names.
 
DJ Kwest has had his DJ name for 24 years of playing in the music industry internationally.  DJ Kwe's DJ name is derived from her Spirit name, M'shko dayn Waashk Bishikii  Kwe meaning Prairie Sage Buffalo Woman.  DJ Kwe has been DJing for 7 years with her fusion of Native sounds and
modern dance beats for all audiences of all ages.  It was a pure coincidence,
or shall we say, fate, that these two successful DJ's found each other
and were drawn to each others passion for harmony. 

This coincidence is just one of many amazing stories of their life as
they continue to draw parallels through music.  Life has a funny way of
bringing people together for the right reasons.
