Biography
I began
collecting records in 1982 at the age of 12, and what began as what can
only be described as a “Vinyl fetish” for dance music and hip-hop became
a lifetime career at the ripe old age of 14 when I experienced my first
“back in the day” style house party where I discovered “the DJ”. Since
then I have experienced much that the music industry has to offer, from
voiceover recording for feature length films, on-air radio, record label
liaising, world circuit tours, remixing and audio production,
international radio and television exposure, record store management,
record pool operation, nightclub management and so on.
I have
toured extensively worldwide (See attached performance listing) and wish
to increase my momentum through proactive representation and strategic
marketing strategies including not only local residencies and out of
town performances, but vinyl and mix CD releases and remixes.
Over
the years I have built a rapport with many major and independent labels
including Tidy Trax, IHR, Catalyst, Ninjatune, Subliminal, 2Wars & A
Revolution, Blow Media, etc, and receive exclusive advance product
directly from other global DJs including Bad Boy Bill, Olav Basoski,
Joey Beltram, Dave Dub, Soul of Man, Frankie Vega, CZR, Jason Jinxx,
Trona, Robbie Rivera, Omar Santana, Rick Garcia, Uberzone, and many
others. I have been spinning for over 22 years, and currently play
Breaks, Drum & Bass, House, Tribal, NRG, Techno, Oldskool, Progressive
and big -room Superclub vibes. My highly trained ear and over 20 years
of experience coupled with a massive music library demands continual
momentum from dance floors of hundred people to venues over fifty
thousand strong.
My
hope is to continue carving out my place in what used to be a niche
market and has since exploded into a global phenomenon.
